I'd rather move to Beckton, at least the Estate Agents are not incompetent (because they don't make as much money) hence you get a better service!

Why is it best? Value for money or best atmosphere (or both)...?

Btw, we live hundreds of miles off, but just curious...

Places like Camden and Islington give me a hard on as they have great atmosphere, good nightlife and all zone 1-2.

Canary Wharf is full of city boys with more money than sense!

Yes. But it's just personal preferance. Depends what sort of lifestyle you lead/ prefer. Not everything in North London is good, Harlesden or Wembley spring to mind.

Remember London is not small, it's a huge city Wenshu.

Thanks! Are those areas quite dangerous - loads of shootings and knife crime? Or just folks sitting by the roadside all day?

Our 'biggie'. But even LA can't compete with London!

Haha - yeah, that's true! I did live there for a short time. It's a lot bigger than my city in the US (Monterey Park) & bigger than LA too! And nowhere in California is as big as London...

Quite expensive now though. I grew up in Camden in the 70s/80s.

Yes, about 5 mins down the road. I remember mentioning to someone at Uni that I lived in North London. When I said it was Camden they were outraged - they considered it Central London.

Camden is inner London as opposed to outer London.

So you used to listen to the ska sounds of Madness? Bloomsbury seems to me a nice neighbourhood to live. On a short walking distance to the Chinatown, Tottenham Court Road+Oxford Street and many other interesting places. I stayed there twice in hotels. It must be very expensive to live in Bloomsbury I guess.
