Re: Eason Chan performs in Europe!

Really fun concert. Eason sang very well live and made the crowd have fun at the end.

9/10. The only thing I disliked was the seating as it was quite tight and people spoiling me views at times

Re: Eason Chan performs in Europe!

Overall a great performance by Eason

He was quite entertaining and his singing was pretty dam good. Sang in 4 different languages -thought that his singing in English and Japanese brought a nice touch to the concert and I really enjoyed those performances

Also glad he spoke in English although noone seemed to understand his jokes

Thought it could have been a bit longer and he didnt sing a few of his other classics which was ashame

Re: Eason Chan performs in Europe!

I think it started around 8 and finished around 10.30? with an interval in between.

I did want him to sing a few more older songs, but the ones he sang were enough.

He really is a great performer and I enjoyed his sense of humour and laid back singing style.

He reminded me a little like Eddie Izzard and Leslie Cheung in his style and stage presence.

Im now looking forward to any more concerts in HK and hope I can plan around them for my next visit! Im hooked!

Re: Eason Chan performs in Europe!

It was a brilliant concert and as always Eason knows how to bring the fun from the audience.

And the added bonus of MRRRRRRRRRRRRRR....................

Hope we get more Chinese artists coming over here to perform, but with tickets not so expensive.

Many people said they could not get tickets but I could see that there was a lot of empty seats around the hall.

Anyway had a excellent night

Re: Eason Chan performs in Europe!

I tried to get tickets first time round but failed.
So I gave up, luckily my wife tried again a few weeks later and go tickets.

We got some decent seats on the front area. We were about 8-10 rows away from the stage so it was perfect.

I agree for £75 quid its quite pricey, but the location was good. Yes MR is very good live and I never put the 2 together about them sounding the same.

But now I agree haha... Who else would you like to see in the UK?

I would like to see some of the older generation perform.

Re: Eason Chan performs in Europe!

Yes it was apparently sold out on the day. We had a few empty seats near us but these seats were apparently sold when we looked the evening before and on the day of the concert :P

I would like to see Joey Yung the most in UK. I do not think we had any female artist in the UK. The last few artist in the UK has been all male - Jacky Cheung, Leslie Cheung and Leon Lai.

Which of the older generation artist would you like to see?

Out of the 4 kings (四大天王) it is Arron Kowk and Andy Lau who has not had a concert in the UK. Out of the two Andy Lau would be good.

Front of the stage. I say 10, probably was around 12 rows as the rows were quite small.

Was talking to friends it would be amazing to get Jay Chow to come UK. But I reckon he would do the 02 probably.

Re: Eason Chan performs in Europe!

Nice so i take it you got all the red paper landing on you.

It would be great for Jay chou to do a concert but could he fill out O2?
The main problem with chinese singers coming to UK is that they stuggle to pack venues and there were a few empty seats dotted around at Eason.

Nonetheless, I hope Eason considers the concert successful as this would pave the way for other chinese artists to come to the UK.

I know other singers who came in the past had half filled venues

Not into cantopop anyway but reading the feedback here makes me feel that it might be worth going to.

Re: Eason Chan performs in Europe!

MR (MISTER).........they sing a song called 如果我是陳奕迅 (If I was Eason Chan)

Oh it would be good to have Jay Chou. But I doubt it, he seem to concentrating on the filming industry these days.

Re: Eason Chan performs in Europe!

Last Saturday Eason's concert in Rotterdam was great! He made many jokes with the audience. He even recognized one superfan who went to his concerts in HKG, London, Manchester and of course Rotterdam!!
It must have cost that superfan a fortune. Who has bought a t-shirt? Those t-shirts were very expensive at 29,95 Euros. Please check Eason's concert pictures at http://crtv.nl
